John co-founded First Street Insurance Agency (as Beckman & Lococo Insurance Services) in 1960, setting the standard for providing highest quality, fully independent advice and service to families and individuals in the greater Bay Area. Meeting the changing needs with new and innovative solutions has always been a priority to the family run agency under John’s leadership.
John has received numerous awards for his volunteer leadership in many community not-for-profit organizations, focusing mainly in the areas of affordable housing and services to the disabled. In addition, he has served as the Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of San Jose (comprised of 43 churches located in 5 counties) since 1977.

She has served in leadership roles in numerous community boards, including Habitat for Humanity, Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services, Family & Children Services (formerly Adult & Child Guidance Center), and POAMN (Presbyterian Older Adult Ministries Network).
